Finjex was born from a simple Python script I wrote to solve my own budgeting struggles. As the need grew, so did the tool—evolving into a web interface with a PHP backend and eventually becoming a full platform for personal finance planning.
Every piece of Finjex—its structure, logic, and design—was created during evenings and weekends in Austria. I had expert input from design and marketing consultants, but the development and vision were driven by hands-on experience and a desire for something better.
